"The Creeping Cat"

© 2007 Eve & Mare

The creeping cat fell in the bath

She dug her claws right in

To nothin’ but water

And I couldn’t help but laugh

When she sunk right in

And gave a big holler

The creeping cat fell in the bath

My cat always seems to be thirsty

She jumps on the counter

Whenever I’m near the sink

You’d think she lived out in the desert

The way she creeps around

Always searching for a drink

The creeping cat fell in the bath

She dug her claws right in

To nothin’ but water

And I couldn’t help but laugh

When she sunk right in

And gave a big holler

The creeping cat fell in the bath

My cat will stalk you in the shower

You’ll see a paw appear

Behind the curtain as you lather up

And when you’re eatin’ at the table

You’ll turn around to find

A furry head dunked in your cup

But her very favorite place to be

Where the water’s flowin’ free

Yes her very favorite place to be

Is sitting on the edge of the tub

The creeping cat fell in the bath

She dug her claws right in

To nothin’ but water

And I couldn’t help but laugh

When she sunk right in

And gave a big holler

The creeping cat fell in the bath
